The Faculty Handbook is a summary compilation of information contained in several independent sources, which include the policies and regulations of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Board of Trustees, Administrative rules and regulations and the collective bargaining agreement between the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the College. The Handbook seeks to provide a compact reference on topics of interest to the Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty and staff. It is not intended to give complete and detailed information about all of the College’s policies and procedure. Its function is to serve as a guide to administrative and academic regulations, procedures and obligations as they now apply at this College. A college or university is, of course, never static. Policies and procedures constantly change, and as changes occur they will be reflected in this Handbook.
